Upon the hill, she stood and gazed toward
The picturesque and welcomed white cascade —
The place where zephyrs played and waters roared

With such a voice, all iciness had thawed
The chill of Nature, now she gaily played
Upon the hill. She stood and gazed toward

Horizons sun-kissed. Clouds float by ‘sif bored
With all of the attention she displayed —
The place where zephyrs played and waters roared.

But unlike others, happiness she stored
Within her heart, with any sadness laid
Upon the hill. She stood and gazed toward

The open spaces, sweet emotions soared
Like birds upon the wing — each heartbeat made
The place where zephyrs played and waters roared.

I see her now, her comeliness adored
By many and with thankfulness she prayed
Upon the hill — She stood and gazed toward
The place where zephyrs played and waters roared.
